What this site processes
Like almost every website, the hosting provider may process technical information such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, timestamp and error logs. This information is used to deliver, secure and maintain the site, not to build advertising profiles.
Google Search Console
Zap Zide uses Google Search Console to understand how pages appear in Google Search. It reports aggregated information such as search terms, impressions, clicks and indexing problems. This site does not use Google Analytics or the Google Analytics tracking script.
Cartoons, Nostr and external images
The galleries retrieve public Zap Zide posts from Nostr and load some cartoon files from external Primal or Blossom servers. When your browser requests an external file, that server receives ordinary technical request data, including your IP address. Static pages such as About, News and this page do not connect to the Nostr archive.
Lightning zaps
The One-tap Zap control is provided by TwentyUno and connects to a Wallet of Satoshi Lightning address. The widget is loaded only around a zap section. If you use it, the providers involved in the payment may process technical and payment information under their own privacy terms. Zap Zide does not receive your card details or wallet credentials.
Cookies and local storage
Zap Zide does not intentionally place tracking or marketing cookies. There is no advertising network, social-media tracking pixel or newsletter tracker on this site. Embedded services may use strictly necessary browser storage to provide their feature. If the live setup ever introduces non-essential cookies or comparable tracking, the site will ask for consent before loading them and this page will be updated.
